We told the girls that once we were settled in the new house we would get a kitten. The local shelter I follow on Facebook had 20 kittens last weekend, so I decided to take the girls to pick one out.

We said we were only getting one. The girls fell in love with two. They are spoiled. We are pushovers.

They are the sweetest babies. Unfortunately the shelter called yesterday and said that they may have panleukopenia because one of their litter mates tested positive. One kitten has puked and the other has had diarrhea, so it’s probable they have it. I won’t take them to get tested, because the shelter says if they’re positive they will be put down; no attempt at saving them whatsoever.

Mr Cinnamon is doing better. He’s eating well and starting to play. Hopefully Mocha rebounds as well. I really don’t want to lose her and break my baby’s heart.
